DC Gameday XX

The 20th semi-annual DC Gameday will be on October 7th, 2017. Join fellow adventure, storytelling, and roleplaying gamers in the nation’s capital for a fun-filled day of games. The event is free to all participants, but advance registration is required.

DC Gameday is held at Labyrinth Games & Puzzles on Pennsylvania Ave, one block from the Eastern Market Metro stop. Hours are 10am to 7pm.

Games will be posted starting Friday, August 25th.  Signups begin at 8 p.m. on Friday, September 15th. 

Even if you've attended a previous DC Gameday, you will need to re-register for this one.

Q.  What is DC Gameday?

A.  DC Gameday is a gathering of fans of role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons.  It is free and open to the public (18 years old and up). 


Q.  Can I come if I've never played a role-playing game before?

A.  Absolutely!  Newcomers are always welcome, and many people will be playing games they've never played before.  Rules are taught and materials provided.  Bringing your own dice is always a good idea, and dice are for sale at the store.


Q.  Where is DC Gameday held?

A.  The current DC Gameday will be held at Labyrinth Games & Puzzles, at 645 Pennsylvania Ave SE.


Q.  How do I sign up?

A.  Signups for DC Gameday XX will start on Friday, September 15th, at 8pm.  Log into the site and click 'Games' to see a list of open games.  Click 'Register' for the game that interests you, or click the title for a more detailed description.  You'll get a confirmation email once you've completed the process.  To register for more games, click 'Games' and start from the beginning.


Q.  How do I get there?

A.  The event is just steps away from the Eastern Market Metro stop on the Blue/Orange/Silver lines.  There is limited paid street parking.


Q.  What do I do if I want to run a game?

A.  After registering, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and ask for GM access.  Once you get a confirmation email, you'll be ready to go. (You may need to log out and back in first).  See "How to Post a Game" under the Help menu.
